What time does the badging office open at the Salt Lake airport? ›

Monday — Friday: 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Most applicants receive approval notification in 3-5 days, though some applications can take up to 60 days. Considering this, applicants are encouraged to renew at least 60 days prior to expiry.

Please expect to wait up to at least (6 mins) on average to go through secuirity checkpoints at SLC. This average wait time is based on the current time (Pacific Standard Time).

The RED Badge allows access to the SIDA "Secured. Area" and the remainder of the Airport Operations Area (AOA). The BLUE Badge allows access to the remainder of SIDA which includes the air cargo areas and the General Aviation areas.
