Another new series from the dude that gave us Yellowstone, this guy is a prodigious writer. I don't understand how he has time to create and write so much stuff.

He's the king of TV these days. Not sure if it's because he's that talented, or Hollywood is lacking in ideas, no creativity, to the point someone with any talent can take over.
I've seen Yellowstone, but not any of his other series, as far as I know.

You should give Tulsa King a try, it's pretty entertaining and coming back for a second season.

"The mob comes to Oklahoma" just hasn't appealed to me, thus far.

It didn't appeal to me either, but it turned out to be pretty good. Stallone is unexpectedly good in the role.

I don't know which is more awful...
Stallone, or the whole premise of the show. Just f*cking terrible, both.
Just like that prison show with Renner.... Mayor of something. f*cking garbage!

he said in a rogan interview he wrote most seasons of yellowstone over a weekend.
each season, one weekend, so my guess is cocaine and whisky.

Yea, the Renner show hasn't appealed to me either. Seems like Sheridan is just cashing in while he can. Can't blame him, but he appears, to me, to be spinning the same premise over and over and over again.
Yellowstone is good. But he stole The Godfather, and moved him out west. Lead character is Don Corleone. Beth is Sonny morphing into Michael. Jamie is Fredo. Etc.
So spin the same premise to Oklahoma. Then whatever town Renner is the mayor of. And now the oil business in Texas. Having seen Yellowstone, really don't care to see the same story twisted into different locales.

The end of Yellowstone Season 5 is back on Nov 10th.
And, I keep hoping to hear more about 6666. I hope that didn't die on the vine.

Ready to see the end of Yellowstone. As in, I'm looking forward to seeing it. And I'm looking forward to it ending.
Never really bought into Yellowstone's "Jimmy" character, other than when he was a loser taken on as a favor. I don't think the actor fit the role. Wife completely agrees. She doesn't like him at all. If he's an integral part of 6666, should it materialize, we probably won't have much interest in it either.

I enjoyed Yellowstone, though it seems to have kinda jumped the shark. 1883 is better than most westerns. I liked it better than Yellowstone I think. Tulsa King was better than I expected. It was actually pretty funny at times, which isn't really what Sheridan is known for. 1923 was sort of all over the map. The stories seemed completely unconnected. But my wife got really into that one. I enjoyed it too.
All in all, I think Sheridan has a way better batting average than anyone else I can think of at the moment. If his name is attached to something, it's at least decent. Sometimes great.

Im more of a Motortrend type guy. I love all of those car shows. I miss the old classics like American Chopper and Gas Monkey.
I loved Yellowstone and all of the Prequels. I believe Taylor owns the biggest Ranch in the country the same 6666 that was featured in Yellowstone.
"6666 Ranch, the historic Four Sixes Ranch, is the ranch for a few scenes from Yellowstone and likely the setting for the upcoming Yellowstone spinoff, 6666. The show's co-creator Taylor Sheridan recently purchased the ranch for $320 million as part of a group. It was originally listed at $341 million.Jun 24, 2024"
Hes got a big nut to crack every month so hes inclined to write a ton more.........

Agreed... I want to see Y end. It's time. I hope they don't f*ck it up. Sadly, I suspect ti will continue with McConnaheh (who I absolutely hate, other than Dallas Buyers Club).
I thought Jimmy and the Vet, along the Forman and his wife would be good chemistry thing.... Jimmy in the beginning was a douche-nozzle. His all grown-up character is ok.
What I'd really like to see is the time periods with young Beth, Rip, John and his wife. That would be cool. Young Lloyd was cool, too.

He paid for that with change he found in his sofa. He made so much back end money off of Y, it's a business school case study.
Every f*cking animal that you see on that show was leased to them, through Sheridan. He filmed sh*t on his properties and leased that to the show. The Wyoming and Utah filmed scenes were his property, as well. His wardrobe and prop kickbacks were worth a small fortune.
Everything he touched turned to gold.
I wouldn't doubt it if he charged the film crew for parking, too.
